There’s more behind a trail than the path you see.At Sunset Beach on Lake Diefenbaker, support from the Saskatchewan Trails Association’s Membership Grant Program helped Prairie Sky Trails Association make the trail system safer, easier to navigate and more welcoming.The project included accessible parking and a designated beach drop-off, a safety fence near the main trailhead, and updated signage with trail maps, distances and accessibility information.These are the kinds of improvements that can be easy to overlook once they’re in place, but they make a real difference in how people experience a trail.This September, we’re showing what happens behind Saskatchewan’s trails and the network of people and organizations that help make these projects possible.🌲 Join the network.
