This year’s AGM will be a virtual meeting taking place on Thursday, March 25 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. In addition to the business portion, the meeting will feature a presentation by Ashlyn George on the “Using Social Media as a Tool to Promote and Protect Our Trail Systems”.

Social media platforms are a double-edged sword in that they simultaneously educate and share with readers new ways of experiencing the outdoors but along with an influx of new visitors, can increase environmental pressures on sensitive natural systems. As a social media expert and professional outdoor adventure travel writer, Ashlyn will discuss the use of social media as a tool to both promote and protect our trail systems.

The AGM will also feature board elections, resolutions, and audited financial statements. There is no fee to attend.
